Session Times

All training sessions are open to everyone; there are no trials.

Our session times for term 1 are:

  • Tuesdays, Zone D, 16:00-17:30
  • Thursdays, Zone D, 17:00-19:00
  • Friday Fun Sesh, Zone A, 13:00-15:00 (first hour is our Rock Up and Play session)

Training Levels

Social Players

If you are looking for a sport that doesn’t involve a large commitment, our Friday sessions are perfect for casual players just looking for some fun, playground-style dodgeball. The first hour of these sessions is Rock Up and Play, which is completely free for all students and staff of Warwick University. We also have weekly socials to get to know the other members, taking place both on campus and in Leamington Spa, including circling, bar crawls, and club meals, as well as plenty of sober socials. You don’t have to play dodgeball to join us at our socials.

Once a year we have our friendly Varsity tournament against Birmingham Uni, which we encourage all of our members to come to, regardless of skill or experience.

Developing Players

Dodgeball is a sport where you can go from a beginner to a top player fairly quickly. If you are looking to improve as a player, come along to as many of our training sessions as you can, where you will receive coaching and advice from our captains and experienced players. We have plenty of competitions and regular league meets for those who want to get involved competitively, and these are open to anyone who is a member of the club.

Competitive Players

For those looking to take dodgeball to the top level, we have the means to help you achieve it. On top of our regular training sessions, many of our members attend training sessions with Leamington Spa Dodgeball club, which are run by the England dodgeball coach. These sessions are a fantastic way to improve at the sport with expert coaching available.

As a member of the club, you can also have the opportunity to attend fitness, Strength and Conditioning, and injury prevention sessions, all of which will help your overall dodgeball performance.
