***I am writing this provisional description as an apology for the delay in the event for Pop! Week 1. I'm also aware that this provisional timetable may contain some inaccuracies and I am sorry for any inconvenience or uncertainty this may cause you.
Some of the errors in the provisional timetable may relate to the timing of the final event.
If you are a finalist I would therefore like to reassure you that the we plan to schedule the event within the first four hours of the normal Pop circling times (which is from 7pm til 10:30pm). Exact details will be in the Final description, and meeting the publication date for this (Wednesday 24th April), is our top priority.
Whilst the overall window within which Pop! will take place has not changed, I appreciate that planning for Pop and other social activities is informed by the provisional description. In this context, any delay in publishing or errors in the description are regrettable and unhelpful.
Please once again accept our apologies, and all the best with your social preparations.***
We’ll be circling in the Copper Rooms (usual spot) from 7pm til Pop! starts (probably). Theme for the week is inflatables, so bring anything you can fill up with air (and you don’t mind potentially getting thrown around in the Copper Rooms) – tour-goers have no excuse to not bring something.
We both have exams in the weeks of term so no-one else has any excuse not to come (especially you non-STEM “students”) – plus what better way is there to relieve some exam stress than shouting obscenities, drinking to excess and (potentially) hitting people with something inflatable?
TL;DR Copper Rooms @7pm; bring something inflatable; relieve that exam stress with us!
P.S. Though a dodgeball can be inflated, it does not count as an inflatable by our standards - be fun and bring something interesting
